Every practice is challenged to provide standards of care in the age of dental implants. We can no longer serve our patients adequately without offering dental implant care and the demand is overwhelming our traditional team approach. If you can extract a third molar or perform complicated restorative or molar endodontic care, you can certainly place simple dental implants. The purpose of this course is simple:
- Start placing simple implants on Monday!
- Improve your practice by elevating your treatment planning skills!
- Gain valuable hands-on experience and experience a live patient demo!
Course Highlights:
- Stabilize lower dentures using the renowned MDI “mini-implant”
- When/how to place the Imtec MDI for simple fixed restorative cases
- When/how to place & restore the Imtec Endure single-stage simplified root form implant
- Emphasis on how to stay out of trouble, how to assess what level of care each individual should be providing, and how to be profitable
- How to simplify implant patient intake using our unique classification system
- How to screen patients for simplified care
- Discern when to refer the case to your team approach
- Lecture and hands-on: Basic technique for the Endure single stage root form implant, and restoration with stock abutments
- Participation: Live patient demonstration while interacting with the treatment team
- Demo: Implant starter kits (both types)
- Lecture and Hands-On: placement and restoration of MDI mini-implants, both simplified fixed cases in the safe zone, and denture stabilization cases in the anterior mandible, followed by a live patient demonstration of a lower denture stabilization
- Demo: Participate in the live patient demonstration by turning an implant in the bone to become accustomed to the tactile sense needed for successful placement of this implant
- Participants are encouraged to bring 1-2 potential, simplified implant cases (study casts and panoral survey) for review in the group diagnostic roundtable
Opportunities for further training will be presented at the course. Space is limited to 20 doctors (with an assistant observing only), so reserve today!
